Our Founder
Jody Allen Crowe
Crotega founder and president Jody is a long-time educator in high-risk schools. He became a subject matter expert in the field of school shootings, authoring a book titled “The Fatal Link”.
After analyzing the Sandy Hook school shooting, he knew he would have been the principal to step up, unprotected, to confront a shooter. He founded Crotega to engineer an active defense system for buildings, allowing occupants to protect themselves and their property without having to directly engage a threat.
